I am a Licensed Clinicial Social Worker and Registered Play Therapist - Supervisor with over 10 years experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. I have received training in Jungian therapy and sand tray therapy in addition to the training required to become a play therapist. My goal as a therapist is to provide a safe and secure environment where individuals can not only build coping skills but also do deep inner work to improve their lives overall and feel better day to day. Lillian is a registered and board certified Art Therapist who employs non-threatening art therapy and play therapy techniques to treat children. Lillian obtained her bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia and a master’s degree in Art Therapy and Creativity Development from Pratt Institute. In her seventeen years of experience, she has worked with a variety of populations allowing her to gain experience providing crisis intervention, creating supportive linkages to the community and helping families create and maintain healthy attachments as they begin to rebuild from their challenges. Her approach to therapy is client-centered, trauma-informed and culturally sensitive. She is skilled in addressing and treating trauma with art therapy, play therapy, guided imagery, mindfulness and is fully trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. She has a growing interest in trauma conscious yoga techniques and utilizing energy work in therapy. Lillian is a Licensed Creative Arts Therapist in New York State and is working toward LPC licensure in Virginia.

Christa is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Play Therapist. She has nearly ten years of experience utilizing play and expressive therapy interventions with individuals, families and groups of all ages. She is specialized in treating trauma with an integrative play therapy and neurobiological informed approach. She is trained in creative and expressive therapies, including play therapy, art-based therapy, and sand tray therapy. She works systemically with families with the goal of strengthening the parent-child relationship and supporting both the child and parent(s) in the development of skills to improve family dynamics. She is also skilled at helping children in areas of self-esteem, interpersonal skills, emotion regulation, and communication skills. She has experience working in outpatient, intensive outpatient, residential treatment facility, and school settings. She is currently working towards completing her certification in trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy. As a creative and photography enthusiast, her life mission is to facilitate healing with the use of creativity.
