Pay What You Can Afford Play Therapy Supervision Group

Next Group Starts April 4, 2024
Thursdays 12 - 1 pm
Complete the form below to be put on the wait list.

This group is designed to combine support and supervision for play therapists as we navigate the many challenges and stressors of working in these times, processing difficult subjects, and finding ways to take care of ourselves.

Because of the extraordinary economic disruption, traumatic realities, and general uncertainty – this is a “pay what you can afford” group. Some people feel uncomfortable determining a healthy fee. Here are some thoughts and guidelines.

• The fee should not injure you or make you anxious financially, it should demonstrate your investment in the process.

• If you are a private practitioner or a salaried employee you might consider some portion of your average hourly fee per session based on your income and expenses.

• If your expenses and debts exceed your income, or you do not have income currently and you would still prefer to pay some fee, please make whatever gesture will preserve your entitlement without harming you financially.

Proceeds from this group will support the Heart Leaf Center, a local non-profit dedicated to providing low-cost, high quality play therapy.
