About Izzie

Izzie (she/her) is a resident counselor (LPC-R) and is currently working towards becoming a registered play therapist. Izzie strongly believes in providing a safe therapeutic space for all clients. She believes that each client is the guide of their own individual therapeutic journey, and that through collaboration and connection, we can work together to achieve your mental health and wellness goals. Izzie has two strong interests and populations that she is passionate about in her work. She is incredibly passionate about working with children ages 3+ utilizing non-directive play and expressive art techniques. She believes in providing kids the space, and tools to work through big feelings while also helping them make sense of the world and issues they are currently facing. Izzie is also passionate about working with individuals with chronic illness, and medical trauma. Her goal is to provide a safe space, strong therapeutic alliance, and meet clients where they are to help them navigate challenges that come with chronic illness. Her approach is always trauma informed.
