About Izzie
Izzie is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and working towards becoming a registered play therapist (RPT). She believes in providing kids the space and tools to work through big feelings, while also helping them make sense of the world and the issues they are currently facing. Using Child Centered Play Therapy (CCPT), she provides a non-directive, trusting space where children can process their experiences, express themselves freely, and grow at their own pace. She strongly believes in the importance of building a safe therapeutic relationship. Her approach centers on connection, autonomy, and understanding each client’s unique way of being in the world. She always utilizes a neurodiversity and LGBTQIA+ affirming framework. Her approach is always trauma informed.
