About Anam

Anam is a Clinical Mental Health Intern at Seven Corners Psychotherapy. She is currently pursuing her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Marymount University. She enjoys working with children, teens, and young adults. She believes that these populations require personalized, developmentally appropriate care. Anam is passionate about providing a warm, welcoming space where her clients feel safe and supported. She wishes to help her clients feel empowered, understood, and valued. Anam’s clinical approach is built upon trust, understanding, rapport, and respect. She enjoys learning about her clients' interests and tailoring sessions to best fit their needs. Her theoretical orientation is person-centered and emphasizes mindfulness, acceptance, and multicultural competence. She believes that every client has a right to be seen and heard. In her personal time, she enjoys playing video games, watching anime and cartoons, and writing and reading fantasy novels.

Anam works with children, adolescents, and adults under the supervision of Sydney Smedley and Izzie Moreno-King.


Experience & Expertise


Anam has had experience working with autistic children and teenagers. She assisted her clients in refining motor, social, functional, and academic skills. She thoroughly enjoyed providing positive reinforcement and encouragement to her clients and watching them grow and develop. Her favorite aspect of her work is being able to build rapport and connections with her clients and making a positive impact on their lives.
