Clients Jenn Serves

While Jenn is not taking new clients at this time, as a Registered Play Therapist, she works with children

as young as 3 using non-directive play therapy as well as with older children, teens, and adults. Jenn works with Autistic folks of all ages to help them understand autism and themselves. She works with those in the LGBTQIA+ population providing gender affirming care. She is experienced in working with people who are anxious, depressed, have experienced trauma, and are working to know themselves.

Experience & Expertise

Jenn has a background in play therapy, sandplay therapy and Jungian therapy. She is recognized as an expert in working with symbols in the context of play and uses this understanding to work with people of all ages to help them increase trust and knowledge in self. Jenn is a leading voice in understanding neurodivergence, neurodiversity affirming therapy, and understanding autism and the neurodiversity

paradigm. She works with therapists via training, supervision and consultation in the areas of play therapy, symbol work, neurodivergence, and autism.

Current Availability

Jenn is not currently taking on new clients. She provides an ongoing workshop for clinicians: “Working with Autistic Young People” that involves both lecture and consultation. It helps clinicians understand the

neurodiversity paradigm, their own internalized ableism, and how to unlearn the incorrect and often harmful things that have been taught about autism and Autistic people. Jenn also holds a recurring 10 week Pay What You Can Afford Play Therapy Supervision group.
